DETONATION To Tour UK With BLOODSHOT DAWN

Dutch death/thrash metal act DETONATION will team up with British band BLOODSHOT DAWN for a UK tour in March 2009. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Mar. 13 - Exeter, UK - Tigga's Bar
Mar. 14 - London, UK - [to be announced]
Mar. 15 - Brighton, UK - Audio
Mar. 16 - Bournemouth, UK - The Gander
Mar. 17 - Weymouth, UK - The Queens
Mar. 18 - Portsmouth or Bristol - [to be announced]
Mar. 19 - Guildford, UK - The Star

DETONATION recently announced the addition of drummer Michiel van der Plicht (ex-PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT, TOXOCARA) to the group's ranks. According to the band, work on the follow-up to 2007's "Emission Phase", "is going well. . . Three killer tracks have been finished, and sections for another 8-10 tracks are ready to be turned into the most intense stuff we've done, ever. This shit is sounding awesome!!"

DETONATION's latest effort, "Emission Phase", was released on April 30, 2007. The CD was recorded with Split Second Sound's Jochem Jacobs (also guitar player for TEXTURES) and Bouke Visser. The cover artwork was created by Eliran Kantor.

"Emission Phase" is DETONATION's third and final album for French underground label Osmose Productions.
